A lot has been placed into this sequel to Shelton in Love. While it is still sweet, it also has a serious tone to it, which some readers might find was missing in the first story.
Shelton is still very in love with Nevil, but this time we also see just how much Nevil cares back. While trying to give Nevil a gift, Shelton stumbles on a lot of obstacles, some of which make him question his relationship and bring back his insecurities.
Not to reveal more of the plot, this story was a solid sequel to a sweet story. It is visible how much both characters have matured in the six months they have been together and previous jealousies are put to rest.
There is a mix up with the car at one point, and I'm not sure if it was truly a mistake in the book or if I misunderstood something. If it was a mistake, it is a pretty big thing to be missed in editing, especially for such a short story.
Nevertheless, I liked the writing very much and I think with a longer story this author could do wonders.
