- Book 3 of Donovan Brothers Brewery
It was meant to be a one-night stand. One night of passion. Scorching hot. Then Beth Cantrell and Eric Donovan were supposed to go their separate ways. That's the only reason he lied about his name, telling her he was really his wild younger brother. Hiding his own identity as the conservative Donovan. The "good" one.
But passion has its own logic, and Eric finds he cannot forget the sable-haired beauty with whom he shared one night of passion. When Beth discovers that Eric has lied, however, she knows he cannot be trusted. Her mind tells her to forget the blue-eyed charmer. If only every fiber of her being did not burn to call him back.

REAL MEN WILL is the third installment in the Donavan Brothers Brewery series by Victoria Dahl, and the one I was looking forward to the most. Ms. Dahl most definitely didn't disappoint with this fantastic contemporary romance that had me laughing, tearing up, and pulling out my hair--sometimes all at once!
Eric Donovan had a one night stand with his fantasy woman, Beth Cantrell. It was one night of passion six months ago that they agreed would never happen again. Eric thought it was a perfect night--one that he can't seem to forget. It seems as though neither can Beth.
Beth thinks she had the perfect night with ladies' man, Jamie Donovan, but she soon finds out that her dream man lied about who he was, and she knows he can't be trusted. However, that night six months ago burns between Beth and Eric, and they aren't able to stay away from each other. Will they be able to put the past behind to give the future a chance?
Wow, wow, wow. Who knew there was all that simmering under the cool and controlled surface of Eric Donovan. *raises hand* I did, I did! And I could not wait to see what happened with it. I loved the way we got to see some insight into Eric's personality while at the same time getting to peek underneath that well put together exterior.
Beth's character was much different than I expected as well. She wasn't as confident as I first suspected, and had much more beneath the surface as well. The two of them together were really well matched.
This is the third book in the Donovan Brothers Brewery series, and but you don't have to read the other books to start this one. I just thought that the first two books gave a bit more background on Eric and why his behavior in the book was so unusual. We also got to see his siblings, Jamie and Tessa, who were the focus of the previous two books. I really feel like I've grown to know the family over these three books.
The dialogue and plot were great. I loved the interactions between characters. I think Ms. Dahl has great timing and is able to give each character his own unique voice. I absolutely couldn't put the book down and read it in one setting.
The HEA was sweet and gave us a look into great things to come for the Donovan family. I'm hoping that this isn't the end of the series, because I really want to see more of this family.
REAL MEN WILL was my favorite of the series I think because I felt like I came to like Eric more than I thought that I could. I had already loved Tessa and Jamie, but Eric annoyed me in the first two books. So, this in-depth look at him and his views on his life and taking care of his siblings after his parents' death truly made me see him in a differently light. Add to that all that sexy bedroom activity, and I was in love!
