Erotic Romance, Multi-cultural/Multi-racial Romance, Paranormal Romance, Vamps & Shifters Romance
When Missi orders something hot and exotic, she never expects to get the strangest and most exotic -- not to mention expensive -- cup of coffee in the world.
The smooth, rich blend is enough to bring Missi to her knees, but the too beautiful for words Portuguese-speaking server Nicolau is enough to make her heart stop. Now she's leaving Café Midnight with a well-hung Royal Civet Shifter going into heat... with Missi squarely in his sights. Is she brave enough to accept all that owning this powerful cat/man entails?

Quirky. Funny. Hot. Sexy. These are the words that I would use to describe CAFE MIDNIGHT: KOPI LUWAK. For me, it wasn't really about romance more than it was erotica. But I loved how funny it was, and how different. I loved the hot sex play as well. Very hot and tempting. A read that will get your blood pressure up.
Missi orders up something hot and exotic from a coffee shop, not expecting to have anything but coffee. When her server brings the coffee, she is in for a ride of her life, literally. Having come from an extremely bad blind date, Missi just wants something different. And wow does she get something different in Nicolau. Sexy, bald, hung, hot are some choice words one could use to describe him. I liked him. I seriously hope that there is another story written on them and that is explored. There is so much potential there for it.
I loved the book nonetheless. Even though it wasn't a love story per se, there is so much there between the two characters. The characters are lovable and I can definitely see a happily ever after beyond the happy for now that they have. Give me more Stephanie Burke. I loved this.
Three stars for a sexy read.
