The world fell apart after the virus killed billions, turning most male survivors into violent monsters out to destroy the world and everything in it. Shit, I've got the nightmares to prove it.
Then I met Mace and he changed everything I thought I knew. He's not a monster, but a wolfman, a hybrid created by the werewolf virus. Mace's pack have come a long way toward blending what's left of their humanity with their wolf instincts. Personally, I'm not too thrilled with this whole dominance/submission thing but that doesn't make them monsters.
Unfortunately, not all of them are like Mace. We call the others rabids. Wild and crazy dangerous, most run when they get their asses kicked. We tripped over the one group that won't run -- and now the real monsters are pissed.

Have there ever been sexier wolfmen? SALVATION is another installment of the Wolfmen series--violent, sexy and following the rules of the wild. In this sequel, Daniel is facing issues from his past, his tongue is still fighting the battle with his brain and the submission has never been harder. To make things worse, a pack of rabids has their eyes set on Mace's pack and they just won't give up.
Between the fights for survival and maintaining the delicate balance in the pack, Daniel and Mace are barely keeping it together. Mace's issues with jealousy and Daniel's need to protect the weaker members of the pack are only making the clashes worse and it soon become a question if they will actually be able to find salvation.
It's not too difficult to conclude I am a big fan of this series. I love the lack of usual rules, overwhelming need for violence and the constant reminder of just how fragile the humans are when compared to those hybrids created by the werewolf virus. This series is unpredictable, there are no situations where the main characters might be spared, because they get just as injured as the rest of them, and baser need for dominance overshadows any fairness one might expect.
In addition to that, the sex is extremely hot, the pages are filled with unstopping action and the constant struggle for survival tops any sensibilities the weaker members of the pack might have. I just love it. With this book, I got exactly what I expected and I am extremely grateful to the author for giving us the same quality with each book. It means a lot.
As for the remarks, I always want more pages, I just can't go around that, but in addition, this book ended without giving certain explanations I felt were necessary before the conclusion of the sequel. The introduction into the current issues of the pack was too long when compared to the solutions and they made me a bit frustrated.
Nonetheless, this is a wonderful, violence filled and dominance charged book which will satisfy all the fans and probably bring in a few more. I do recommend starting reading it from the first book in the series.
