Immortal Vikings are among us

Leif Skarsganger and his elite band of immortal warriors have been charged to protect humanity from the evil Norse god Loki.

Under attack from Loki's minions, Leif is shocked to encounter a dark-haired beauty who fights like a warrior herself. Wounded and feverish, the Viking kisses her, inadvertently triggering an ancient Norse bond. But when Naya Brisbane breaks away and disappears before the bond is completed, Leif's warrior spirit goes berserk. If Leif doesn't find her fast, he's going to lose himself to permanent battle fury.

But Naya doesn't want to be found...and he'll do anything to find her. Because they're both running out of time.

VIKING WARRIOR RISING is a super fantastic novel that had me wanting more!

This novel had the perfect blend of ancient Viking that was crossed with modern black ops super soldier scenario. Leif is a king, and the leader of a badarse band of immortal warriors. They've been here on Earth for a hundred years, sent by the Gods, Odin and Freya, to save the world by thwarting Loki and his minions. Leif meets up with Naya when she saves him. She was a fierce match for the mighty Viking warrior, and as it turns out she is his true mate, so they had some strong chemistry going on. The plot had more than one twist though, and that caused big problems.

This book kicks off an ingenious new series that is steeped in Norse mythology. The dynamic stands out since it is different from from any series out there. The world building is complex, with plenty of mystery and kick arse action. It had passion, chemistry, and engaging banter. These alpha heroes/heroines are on a mission to save the world, but they are flawed enough to be believable. The writing is solid, vivid, and fast paced perfection.

I enjoyed this novel immensely. This first one snagged my attention, and now I can't wait for the next one. It's Five Flying Stars for VIKING WARRIOR RISING!
