All she wants is peace and anonymity...

Lady Sophie Windham has maneuvered a few days to herself at the ducal mansion in London before she must join her family for Christmas in Kent. Suddenly trapped by a London snowstorm, she finds herself with an abandoned baby and only the assistance of a kind, handsome stranger standing between her and complete disaster.

But Sophie's holiday is about to heat up...

With his estate in ruins, Vim Charpentier sees little to feel festive about this Christmas. His growing attraction for Sophie Windham is the only thing that warms his spirits-but when Sophie's brothers whisk her away, Vim's most painful holiday memories are reawakened.

It seems Sophie's been keeping secrets, and now it will take much more than a mistletoe kiss to make her deepest wishes come true...

Regency Romance at its finest! Yep, Ms. Burrowes brought her fans a wonderful holiday romance novel filled with great characters, steamy romance and beautiful regency details. This book hooked me from page one and didn't let me go until the very last page. I love Christmas and Historical romance so this was the perfect blend of both. Ms. Burrowes has made me a forever fan with just this one novel!

All Sophie wants for Christmas is some quiet time...alone. But a sweet baby and sexy stranger have other plans for Lady Sophie. After accepting help from Vim, the sexy stranger, to help her with the abandoned little baby, a terrible snowstorm reeks havoc and strands them together in Lady Sophie's home. Sophie didn't anticipate the snowstorm and well, she really shouldn't have Vim in her home. It's enough to cause a scandal!

Once back at home, Sophie doesn't correct Vim of her title, letting him believe she is simply a commoner. And Vim doesn't correct Sophie of his, either. Together the two of them, both lonely souls on a magical holiday, taking care of the most adorable little baby, find more and more reasons to fall in love.

I loved every bit of this story! It's most definitely a 5 star book! With romance in the air, rich vivid historical detail to the regency era, lovable characters and fantastic writing skills, Ms. Burrowes has turned out the PERFECT start to a wonderful series! I can't wait to go back and read her Windham brothers books, as well as continuing the journey with Sophie's 4 sisters! Well done, Ms. Burrowes!
