A routine mission…
Sean Taggart is hunting a deadly terrorist, and his only lead is the lovely Grace Hawthorne. She's the executive assistant for an employment agency Sean suspects is a front for illegal activities. To get the truth, he is going to have to get very close to Grace, a task he is all too eager to undertake when he discovers her deliciously submissive nature.
…turns into a dangerous seduction.
Soon, Grace Hawthorne is living a double life. By day, she is the widowed mother of two college-aged sons. By night, she submits to Sean's every dark desire. She's living out her wildest fantasies of pleasure—intimate acts of trust she's only read about. As passion engulfs her, a murderer strikes, and Grace learns that Sean has a deeply hidden agenda. Will Sean choose his mission and break her heart or be the Master of her dreams?

Ooooh, I love an erotic book with a nice dose of suspense for us to savor, and THE DOM WHO LOVED ME delivers!
When Sean Taggart's company is contracted out to discover who's behind a string of eco-terrorism attacks, he knows the key to finding out what's going on lies with the boss' hot as hell admin, Grace Hawthorne. Widowed with kids in college, Grace hasn't taken time for herself the last few years, but she's not blind. Anyone can see her company's new client Sean Taggart is out of her league. And way too young to take his outrageous flirting seriously. But Sean is dead serious. He has to find out if Grace is involved in the scheme, and if it means taking her to bed to find out her secrets, then it won't be a hardship. He just doesn't count on falling hard and fast for the feisty woman.
The Masters And Mercenaries series has given us some uber sexy characters, so I decided I needed to check out where the yumminess all started, with THE DOM WHO LOVED ME. Sean was sexy as hell, suave and sweet on the outside, but all kinds of kinky when the when the clothes come off! Grace was convinced he couldn't possibly be interested in an older widow, but Sean surprised her by not only taking on the role of her Dom, but that of her boyfriend as well. The two meshed well together, though I got frustrated by Grace's constant lack of confidence in their relationship. I wanted her to woman up and realize that she did deserve this gorgeous younger guy!
THE DOM WHO LOVED ME was otherwise excellent. The character development was great, and I've already got strongly formed opinions on the entire McKay-Taggart Security Services team, especially Sean's brother Ian – what a dick!
Bottom Line: I can't wait to work my way through the Masters and Mercenaries series and get to know this fantastic group of characters!
