Book 5 of Great Wolves of Passion Alaska
Erotic Romance, Ménage or more, Paranormal Romance

Eve hasn't spent much time with Rand outside of the bedroom. And definitely not alone. But, with the violence against the wolf population growing, they investigate the issues together. With each day out, they grow closer, but she knows Rand is holding something back.

Rand has wanted Eve since the first moment he scented her. He has held back some of his true sexual nature because he worries she might freak out. Spending more time with her is making it hard to ignore his baser needs. And he has to keep his head screwed on straight. He has to protect her not only from himself, but from the violent villain who now seems focused on destroying her.

NOTE! You are purchasing Siren's newest serialized imprint, the LoveXtreme Forever Series. This is the fifth book in the Great Wolves of Passion, Alaska collection. These books are not stand alone and must be read in the numbered order. Each book may end on a cliffhanger but usually with a happy-for-now for the heroine and one or more men. The final book contains a happily forever after for the heroine and all her men.

The Great Wolves of Passion, Alaska series is an addictive erotic shifter series if only they would come out quicker. Because each ends in a cliffhanger, it's just too long in between each publication date. That being said, note it is absolutely necessary to read this series in order because they play right into each other. You cannot understand the storyline without reading them in order.

This fifth installment uses the same vivid detail as the earlier books while continuing to develop the heroine Eve's relationship with the men. Readers are so far in now that there's no turning back until we finish this journey with Eve.

Eve is a veterinarian who has been given permission to study the wolves on an Alaskan preserve controlled by the Dillon family. Eve has been oddly attracted to the Dillon men since she arrived. Though she's yet to understand it, Eve is their mate and has been staying with them while they determine who is responsible for the wolf attacks in the area.

Anyway, this book focuses on Eve and Rand, whom she hasn't really interacted with much. But now as the violence against the wolves escalates, the investigation throws the two of them together. Rand has tried to keep his distance from Eve, avoiding being alone with her even though he's wanted her since first scent because he's afraid his true sexual nature will scare her. Apparently there was no need because Eve takes to Rand like they were made for each other. Go figure, they are mates.

Eve's transformation to wolf-shifter is becoming more obvious to readers. At some point, the scientist in her has to begin catching on to this. Still not aware of the full truth of her relationship with the men and just willing to accept that she's in a ménage with these wolf-shifters, it takes some acceptance ourselves to go along, too.

This story, like all the others in the series, ends in the midst of more drama. I wanted to be able to turn the page and keep reading – I wanted to know more. So be warned that you will need to pick up the next book right away after reading this. I'm waiting anxiously to find out just how Eve reconciles her relationship with her mates.
