Derrick Adams is not happy. His pack of werewolves isn't like all the others. His brother Max found his lifemate in the pound, he has a cousin who's a vegetarian, and Xavier Wolf comes from a pride, instead of a pack. Lassiter Adams isn't exactly what he seems, either. Neither is his parakeet! And now Derrick has a lifemate of his own -- and she isn't barking. You'll laugh, you'll sigh, and you'll need a fan, because these stories are exceptionally hot!

This is an anthology of all four books in the Wolf Mates series and is one of the funniest books I have read this year. It's always a good sign when 16 pages into a book I am already laughing my ass off. I have to say that I am a big fan of the Adams family and if Ms. Cassidy ever revisits this hilarious clan I am so there!

An American Wolf in Hoboken

How many people can say they met their mate at the pound? And I am not talking about you both being there to adopt a pet and meet; I mean I was adopted by JC after I was caught running around the city in my wolf form. Now you may be asking yourself why I, Max Adams, Alpha of my pack, was in the city in the first place and I would blame it all on my Grandma Eva and her soup. Grandma Eva has a special talent for reading prophecies in her soup and woe is the person who ignores one.

After a meeting like that, you would think everything after would be easy but you would be wrong. Not only does JC name me FLUFFY, but she takes me to the vet for shots and to talk about having me NEUTERED!

What's New Pussycat?

Derrick Adams went to the rest stop like his Grandmother Eva told him to, thinking he was going to find his mate, but instead he finds a cat! A pampered, caviar eating, cat from Manhattan! Derrick refuses to be mated to a feline…he may be a tomcat when it comes to the ladies, but this is ridiculous.

Martine was just minding her own business hanging out in her cat condo when she wakes up in a carrier with a strange man carting her around…and not just any man but a werewolf. All she knows is if he doesn't quit shaking her carrier she's got a hairball with his name on it!

Moon over Manhasset

Julia is an independent she-wolf, thank you very much. She doesn't spend much time with her family; she's too busy making money at her pet boutique. When Xavier, the new investment counselor she plans to work with to make her even more money, walks into her store, they're both taken aback by the instant attraction they feel towards each other. Since they can't seem to keep their hands off of each other, Julia is just hoping her tail doesn't pop out until after her orgasm. After several rounds of incredibly hot sex…everywhere except a bed, a tail does pop out...but it's not hers, it's his! And he's a lion!

Ruff & Ready

Emerson and Lassiter were best- friends when they were children. The fact that Emerson is a werewolf is a secret. But Lassiter has a secret or two of his own. When they meet again as adults, they may be on opposite sides of a battle but their passion is undeniable. Can they trust enough to reveal their secrets and realize they might just be on the same side after all? And what the hell is up with Lassiter's parakeet???

When a book has lines like "His hands were weapons of mass hormonal destruction", it's a winner for me. Ms. Cassidy is brilliant at mixing humor and hot sex! Her characters are offbeat and lovable and I didn't want the book to end. This is one of her earlier releases but it is so worth taking the time to go back and read it if you haven't before.

If you like your heroes to be sexy, strong and you heroines to be smart, and independent then WOLF MATES is a book that you will want to read again and again!
