One of ten exclusive memberships opens up at the private BDSM club known as Le Club Laurel Oak, located in a Victorian mansion in the historic district of Ocala, Florida. Justin Devereau, a member of the original Le Club Beaudelair in New Orleans, buys a farm and moves his polo string to Ocala to begin building a new polo club and a new life away from the very dark influences of the New Orleans club and his dysfunctional childhood. He moves into the top-floor suite at the club while the house at his farm is being renovated.
Kelly Anderson, an employee at Le Club Laurel Oak, catches his eye in a big way, but she is not into the BDSM lifestyle. Sparks fly, and Kelly must learn to open up to new experiences while Justin must try to shed some of the dark baggage created by his family history

Ms. Michaels is a master of details! From the first sentence I was immersed in a world of wealth, privilege, and history. Her characters were unique, and believable with out of the ordinary interests that help set this book apart from the rest.
The hero, Justin, was an avid practitioner of martial arts, horse back and polo. Though wealthy, attractive, and intelligent, Justin had enough baggage to fill a small plane. Originally from Louisiana, Justin has relocated his life to Ocala, Florida to start over, and continue to recover from the death of his fiancée eight months prior. All this makes a wickedly attractive, yet vulnerable hero who's the perfect counterpart for our heroine Kelly.
Kelly is an absolute sweetheart who grew up in a middle class family and has no interest in BDSM, despite the fact that she works in a club. As the administrative assistant, she's surrounded by the lifestyle and its participants, but has made it a point to keep them at a polite distance. It's a plan that's working great until Justin arrives and joins. Close friends with the cofounders and members of the sex club Justin piqued her interest and persuades her to break her own rules about fraternizing with the club's members.
What started out as a lunch and a cup of coffee swiftly turns to more and Justin's past keep their road on love from being anything but smooth. This was a fantastic read! It had just the right amount of spice, mystery, and background. I highly recommend it to any romance lover. The BDSM play is mild, and the perfect introduction to those who've been thinking of taking a walk on the wild side with their romance reading.
