SUMMARY
Sydney Carson doesn't have room in her life for the complications of a relationship. Her life is busy enough, what with having to referee her parent's separation, keep her playboy brother out of trouble, and still manage to run her family's busy real estate investment firm. That doesn't leave a lot of time for personal needs.

But after bumping in to high school friend, Reece Myers, and feeling the searing heat of their instant chemistry, Sydney figures that finding time for the occasional hour of mind-numbing sex certainly couldn't hurt. Or could it?

Reece Myers has finally gotten his life where he wants it. His blue-collar bar is a success, he's got good friends, and a building nest egg in the bank. The only thing missing is the right woman to share that life with. He thinks he's found her in the form of one long-legged, gorgeous redhead from his past, but the hard part is convincing Sydney it's worth a shot.

Going in, Reece knows Sydney has money, but her sweetness and unassuming nature make it easy to ignore. However, when their personal and professional lives clash, the vast difference in their bottom lines shocks him back to reality. Can he overcome his insecurities for a chance at a future with the woman of his dreams?

"You've changed my life, made me want to change my life. It took me being with you to finally realize there's more to that life than work. To know I deserve to be happy too. You make me happy." When I read this I fell in love with this book even more.

Sydney is a woman that cares for everyone except herself. She wants to make sure everything is good with the people she loves but she forgets that she deserves to be happy too. Sydney works night and day, even weekends, and never delegates to others. When she meets up with an old friend from school, her whole world changes and feelings that she had never felt before, even for her ex-husband, come crashing on her and she finds herself not afraid. I love how confident she is and caring, but I felt sorry for her because she was not living, it was like she was dead. It seemed that she lived only for work and had no social life whatsoever. Then realizing that she had never cried was worse but when she thought it was completely over between her and Reece, tears streamed down her face.

Reece, well what can I say about him but damn he's HOT. I loved how sensual and passionate he was. He put all of his feelings into the not-so-relationship between him and Sydney. Sure he knew what he was getting himself into, but he was willing to risk his heart, he knew one day would come when she would break his heart. At the beginning of their no-strings-attached sex-only relationship, it was only that until one day when he escorted Sydney to a gala. That is where there relationship changed for the better but soon he realized he could not live without her, knowing if she broke things off he would no longer touch her and he could not bear that. It seems that Reece is the glue that keeps her together and he calms her with his touch but for how long? The differences between them soon crash their relationship. Will they be able to survive? Will Reece confess that his pride overtook him?

Reece and Sydney made the perfect couple. You get to see how their relationship went from no strings attached to a full-blown relationship. You see how Sydney learned that she could trust him, how safe she felt with him but more importantly that she liked the sensual embraces they shared whether after making love or after a crappy day. Then you have Reece that lets her think about all the extras she gets in a real relationship compared to the no strings attached. Only problem is that he needs to get over their differences in society before it's too late.

Now for the hot stuff that happened in between the sheets. Wow, all I can say about Reece is that he brought out the sex kitten in Sydney. Exploring things that she never thought of exploring, just a little teaser, imagine outdoors on the terrace and how about one more bedroom and rope. Yup, he knew just how to make her have the afterglow of a night of passion. Then what surprised me was Sydney and how Reece made her open up and start being open about what she wanted in bed. She did things that she never thought she could do.

I want to give props to Jenny Lyn. You did an amazing job writing this romance story and sharing it with us. The romance between Sydney and Reece was just exquisite. I hope when others read this story they come to the same conclusion as I did, that a man should not feel or think of themselves less if their woman wins more money than them. Work things out and compromise. Secondly I loved the secondary characters, Sophie and Deke, and hope that there may be a story for them. I highly recommend this book! I look forward to more of your books.
