It's no secret that Sophie Oak is one of my favorite erotic authors. I've said it a million times, I gush over all of her books, and I recommend her stuff to just about everyone who's looking to read a ménage romance. Even with all that, I have to say that PURE BLISS is probably one of my most favorite books written by her thus far. Once again, she's given me a fantastic story, characters I care about, and smoking hot sex. I felt that the title of the book was apropos since reading this book was absolutely pure bliss.

This story is about one of the characters I've always been intrigued by, James Glen. He and the man who was raised as his brother, Noah, were supposed to build a life together with a woman they would share while living on their family ranch. But a woman came between them resulting in Noah running off to New York City and leaving James alone to run the ranch. When Noah returns to Bliss, he's not exactly welcomed by his brother, but he'll do anything to prove that he's here to stay.

When Noah becomes instantly attracted to Hope, he's sure that she's the woman that will bring him and his brother together again. But Hope's past has put her in danger, and Noah and James will have to come together to save the woman they love.

I love Bliss, Colorado. It is probably my most favorite fictional towns. The characters are so fun and quirky. I never know what's going to pop out of their mouths, but they never fail to entertain me. And the showing in PURE BLISS was no different. We got some new entertainment though with the people who attended "Woo woo festival", otherwise known as the Festival of Spiritual Renewal--which included a group of Sasquatch enthusiasts.

Hope was unexpected for me. I had no idea how much depth she had. Her character had been pretty unassuming up to this point, so it's such a great surprise to know that she had such strength and determination, especially considering what she had been through at quite a young age.

James and Noah were very yummy. Both were very dominant so I didn't know how that would work exactly, but it seemed to come together just right.

I loved this plot. We're used to the crazy people coming after the women in Bliss. We're used to the town coming together to protect them, but Sophie Oak never fails to come up with unique plot lines and characters that keep me engaged.

Another fantastic story by Sophie Oak. PURE BLISS is a perfect example of why she is one of the best in Erotic Romance: amazing stories that would be great without the sex, but all that hot lovin' she writes in there is just icing on the cake!
