Losing her master ripped Darcy's world apart. Falling in love put it back together. Malcolm is an undercover agent, and she's his unwitting asset. Can a relationship built on lies survive the truth?
Picking herself up after the devastating loss of her master is more difficult than Darcy anticipated. Just when she needs someone the most, a handsome Dom steps in. Theo is thoughtful, dominant, and demanding—everything she needs. He pushes her boundaries, tests her limits, and takes her to new heights. With him, she remembers what it is to feel joy and love and a firm hand on her ass.
Agent Malcolm Legato is after a corrupt businessman, and Darcy is his ticket into the upper echelon of Snyder Corp. As he cultivates her as an asset, he falls hard for this feisty submissive, and he knows he'll break her heart the moment she finds out he's been lying to her all along.
When it all falls apart, will Darcy be able to find the strength to forgive Malcolm so they can build a life together and the courage to bring justice to the man she loved and lost?
With twists of rope and plot, this action-packed story will make you laugh, cry, and squirm in all the right ways. With Re/Bound, Michele Zurlo delivers a smart, bold, and sexy tale.

The cover tells all—dark, mysterious, skillful with the rope but most of all passion. Lies are something that Darcy is not able to forgive but will Malcolm "Theo" make her see that he truly does love her when the secret is revealed?
This story has to do with trust, honesty and submitting. Malcolm's "Theo" entrance into Darcy's life was unexpected but something that Darcy needed in order to make it through her presentation. She has stage fright, something that her Master Scott used to take care of by flogging her or even a spanking. So when Malcolm appears and uses his dominant voice and promises her a reward afterward, this is where a Dominant/ submissive relationship starts to form.
This starts off as an investigation of Darcy to see if she murdered her fiancé but Malcolm knows almost immediately that she did not do it. Only that he still needs her in order to secure a job in Synder Corporation and to see what exactly her part is in that company. As time passes, he finds himself falling in love with her but most of all he wants for her to submit to him fully, only that he knows that when the truth comes out she might walk out of his life completely. So his bright idea is to make her submit to him and fall in love and just maybe she will forgive him.
Darcy struggles with self-confidence but she truly is capable of standing on her own two feet. She closed herself off from everyone when her fiancé went missing but after eight months, she knew that she needed to start living again. So her first thought was to seek all the confidence in herself and give a public speech, only she found herself not being able to do it even with the pain she had already inflicted on herself.
When she found herself calling Malcolm "Sir" there was new light within her. Darcy finds herself always comparing Malcolm to Scott and has a hard time being able to fully submit. She finds herself being pushed to her limits. With Malcolm pushing her, she finds herself pushing him on his hard limit. So when she argues with Malcolm and explodes on him, she demands for him to take her and make her submit and, believe me, she submits and finally finds herself wanting to move on but for how long? When lies and her dislike of cops come into light, can the D/S relationship continue?
The sexual chemistry is there from the moment that Malcolm and Darcy faced from the beginning but as time passes it grows so intense. The boundaries that Malcolm pushes Darcy are unbelievable. Malcolm is a very knowledgeable Dom and wants to protect Darcy to the very end. The most intense scene in this book was almost towards the end where Darcy flees from Malcolm and they have a struggle. Darcy finds herself fighting back because Malcolm is trying to bind her completely, something that she has told him she does not care for. She finds herself being used for his pleasure, not hers, a punishment that ends up with her submission.
Michele Zurlo has done it again with RE/BOUND. This story had everything from romance and mystery mixed in with the BDSM world. It's not hard to find yourself lost in this book and unable to stop reading. I enjoyed how Ms. Zurlo led the reader through the emotional and sexual endeavor of Darcy's life. Malcolm was the perfect Dom to break Darcy down but in a good way and let her live again and submit again. I will forewarn readers that if you are not into the BDSM world - usage of floggers, whips, sex toys or bondage – this story has mainly all their sexual scenes using some of these things. But I recommend the reader to explore a little and see if maybe it could be something you could read and really enjoy.
RE/BOUND is a must read that will leave you eager to see if Darcy is able to forgive a liar and also a overcome that he is a cop or FBI agent.
