Luke Leveraux hates seeing suspicion darken Jeremy St. James's eyes when he leaves for his monthly hunting trip, but some secrets just can't be shared.

On the surface artist Luke Leveraux has it all: money, a fantastic historical home, talent. When his boyfriend Jeremy moves in, his life should have been perfect. But Luke's hunting expeditions are a cover for something much darker, and he doesn't dare expose his lover to this unpredictable side of his life.

Art teacher Jeremy St. James has always known about his lover's hunting trips. He just expected that they would stop when he moved in with Luke. Or, at the very least, that he might be included in the monthly excursions.
Someone else knows Luke's secret, though. Someone determined to put an end to the situation.

What do a werewolf and an artist have in common? They are one and the same and they love Jeremy. Poor Luke suffers the same affliction as many women. Every month, for a week he becomes a hungry raving beast who bleeds. All kidding aside, Luke inherited his shape shifting abilities on his twenty-first birthday. He turns into a werewolf which is painful and disorienting. He's afraid to tell Jeremy for fear of losing him. How does one explain going furry once a month?

Jeremy on the other hand is left with suspicions of infidelity. He was so sure once they moved in together; Luke would cease his monthly getaway. Instead, it's still the same and when Luke returns, he's exhausted and not interested in sex. The only reason why this could be is if Luke spent the week in a sexual marathon.

This story is sweet as Luke and Jeremy open up and communicate. Mr. Brazil pens a romantic story with a little conflict and a happily ever after. As expected, this novella is smooth and an enjoyable fast read, as are all Mr. Brazil's books. There are hints of a possible follow up story. The reader never fully learns what happened to Luke's family. There's also the ranger who resembles Luke, according to Jeremy. Is there possibly a way to end this curse? This paranormal romance is recommended for m/m lovers who enjoy a fast sweet read.
