I really enjoyed Backstage Pass, the first book in the series. I was not sure I really wanted to read about the lead singer Sed Loinheart but bought the book because I loved Olivia's style and the first book was so such fun! Also, the first book left me wanting to know more about the band and their story.

I was pleasantly surprised with ROCK HARD, I found myself wanting to read more. I wanted to see the story develop, and Olivia Cunning did a wonderful job of allowing the readers to understand Sed; you even start to fall in love with what in the surface seems like a male slut and sexist pig :)

Sed's devotion to Jessica and seeing how his feelings for her affected many of the actions in the first book was engaging. I loved how even in the end Sed was unsure of himself when Jess said "no" on the boat. Also LOVED when Sed admitted he did not kiss anyone else and the reason for three women and Eric watching.

This book became a pageturner; you want to see how it ends and how these two "soul-mated" learn to appreciate each other, flaws and all. More importantly, you want to see how they appreciate why each does what they do, which is about wanting the best for each other.

I am sooooo looking forward to the third book Double Time; I am excited to read about Trey Mills!! Keep writing about the Sinners, Ms Cunning, as they are so much fun!!
