Can a lonely florist meet a hot cowboy, become a stripper, get snared in an FBI investigation, and fall in love in one week? Absolutely!
Meet Regan O'Connor, who plunges into a world of stripping and fabulous sex with Damon Radcliff, who fails to mention that he's the Texas senator's son. That little tidbit of information would have been helpful to know before Regan got herself involved in Damon's idiotic scheme of proving his brother's stripping fiancée is up to no good. Regan steps into the shady world of stripping to find that the fiancée-to-be is a very bad girl and more.
All Regan ever wanted was to look back on her life and know that she lived for the moment and smile while reminiscing. She gets that and more. Regan also finds her inner stripper, confidence in herself, unimaginable sex, and an adventure of a lifetime.

The first sentence of the synopsis said it all: "Can a lonely florist meet a hot cowboy, become a stripper, get snared in a FBI investigation, and fall in love in one week? Absolutely."
Regan O'Connor was a workaholic from the moment that she thought she might lose her business. Who would have guessed that giving advance to men would be so profitable? It's true when a man gives woman red roses, it usually does mean that they couldn't think of getting anything else. Only she made her arrangement, fun, sexy and even erotic. Just to give you a small glimpse of how erotic, imagine a floral arrangement with vibrant colored flowers with condoms then some penis-shaped lollipops. When a gorgeous cowboy walks into her floral shop saying that it was her fault that his younger brother is engaged to a stripper, she doesn't like it as it's bad news.
Damon Radcliff asks for help from Regan since it's her fault that Drew is engaged to a stripper. Since their father is running for election again as the Senator for the State of Texas, he needs to make sure the stripper is truly in love with Drew. He comes up with a plan and hopes that Regan will agree. When they go the gentleman's club he points out Shay, the fiancée, so Regan could pump her for information. But seeing Regan all glamoured up caused Damon to have second thoughts.
Regan is able to get hired fairly easy at the club and she is to work the following day. Now her only problem is shopping for the proper attire. When Damon sees her stripping for the first time, he gets this possessiveness feeling and wants to drag her off the stage. He was pissed at the other men ogling her. After only one night being at the gentlemen's club, Shay shows her true colors, that she is a nasty bitch. What else is she capable of?
DAMON is the start of a series, and I am certainly keen to read more. I enjoyed how Regan and Damon came together and how the title of the book could break what they had. The truth should always be told, because it shows that you trust the person and respect them. This story was really fast-paced for me to the point where I hardly got to know the main characters, but I still enjoyed the storyline. There was so much potential for this story to be really great if there could have been more information about the main characters, more of their background. I expected for there to be more in the relationship between Drew and Damon. What happened when the truth was revealed? Now the chemistry between Damon and Regan was smokin' hot. They truly could burn the sheets.
If you enjoy reading about sexy cowboys that are ready for some lovin' then this book is for you. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, Drew: The Texas Senator's Son.
