BABYSITTING THE BILLIONAIRE by Nicky Penttila is a well-written, utterly enjoyable contemporary erotic romance, which has no pretensions to be anything but that. In its very sensual simplicity, it is completely enchanting and draws the reader in from the first moment.

It is the story of a young graphic artist with a passion for penguins. She is appointed by her disagreeable boss, the CEO of a penguin charity, to look after a quirky, and very rich, donor. Over days of coffee mishaps, political maneuverings, love lost and found, we follow her and the gaming magnate she is babysitting, caught between laughter and arousal. In the end she has to make the choice what she will defend--the man she has come to love and see a future with or her job. Or does she chuck both out of the window and choose the penguins?

It has been quite a while since I have enjoyed a book quite that much. The characters have life, and depth, and a reality so rare in erotic fiction. They are not omniscient or faultless and in that humanity are utterly enchanting. I think there would have been space to pace out the story a little more, to give them a little more space to develop but that desire might be due to the fact that I just want there to be more story.

All in all, I would say this is a thoroughly enjoyable read, well worth spending a few hours, a few laughs and a few sexy hot moments on.
