Princess Watkins was damn good at her job as a Dominatrix at Suite Surrender, an exclusive BDSM B&B owned by her friends May and Winston Biggers. At least she thought she was before Winston decides to bring in his friend, Dominant Erik Hendrix, for consideration as his replacement as Dungeon Master over all of the Doms and Dommes working there.
Erik Hendrix expected to be made Dungeon Master at Suite Surrender. What he didn't expect was to be competing for the spot. He also didn't expect that his competitor would be a very sexy Domme. Too bad he has a strict policy against dating another Domme.
With her skills questioned, Princess wonders if maybe she should go "vanilla" and date the dull, new accountant. But with her strong pull to Erik, she's also starting to question her role as a Dominatrix.

Two Dominants, one job, and a whole lot of fireworks…
There's nothing sexier than a hot alpha man, who knows what he wants and is strong enough to fight for it; add in a strong woman who is fighting just as hard to deny it, and when they come together, the sparks fly. Once again, Bridget Midway weaves a story that is both well-written and memorable, not mention hot enough to burn up the pages.
Princess Watkins is confident that she's good at her job—being a Dominatrix at her friends' BDSM Bed and Breakfast, Suite Surrender. But lately her heart isn't in it. She doesn't know why but she just isn't getting the same rush out of being "Mistress Agony" she once did.
Erik Hendrix has been a Dom for more than twenty years. He's had some bad experiences in the past, but they've made him a better Dom. So, when he moves from Florida to work as a Dom at the same BDSM B &B, he expects that his reputation and experience will have him being Dungeon Master in the establishment. What he doesn't expect is the spitfire Dominatrix whose real name is Princess. She makes his body burn, and he wants her.
Princess doesn't understand why her body responds to this man as it has done to no other, but she's not going to let that get in the way of getting the position of Dungeon Master. When the two of them come together, the sparks fly. They experience feelings neither one of them have even known or expected. But, will their competition to get the same job get in the way of what they truly need from each other? Or will they submit to their own desires?
This is the third book in the Corporate Desires series, and it's very steamy. Princess and Erik are a wonderful match for each other. Right from the beginning, I felt how right they were for each other, and was rooting for their happiness in the end. They really did complement one another. I felt that their flaws made them better people and better for each other. It also added a layer of depth to the characters which helped them appear more real. I also loved that these two Dominants, who are fighting for position in their relationship, actually have something to teach one another that would make both of them better Dominants. Erik teaches Princess how connecting with a sub heightens the experience, and Princess teaches Erik how knowing a sub's background could actually help anticipate their needs better.
Although this is the third book in the series, I don't think that you need to read the first two books to understand what's going on. However, I do feel that you would get a greater depth of understanding about Princess if you did read book one. This is a book about BDSM and there is a lot of discipline and bondage in the book, so if you don't like that sub-genre of erotica, it may not be the book for you. But if you are a fan, the scenes are very erotic and well-written, especially the ones between Erik and Princess. The heat between them is scorching.
Fans of the first two books will be happy because the couples from those books make reappearances in this one as well, especially Winston and May, who are the owners of Suite Surrender. There are also some subplots in the book that give us a bit of suspense in the book as well. There are some memorable secondary characters in the book; even a few that made me laugh out loud more than a few times. Although there was a scene at the end with some high ranking officials that I thought was a bit over the top, I really couldn't find anything that I didn't like about the story.
If you like BDSM and erotic romance, you should get acquainted with the folks at Suite Surrender. I'm sure you will really enjoy your stay.
