SUMMARY
Marissa Lambert is furious with her agent for hiring a security agency to protect her. The last thing she needs is some Texas cowboy following her around, and telling her what to do. Just because two plus-sized models have turned up dead in a month doesn't mean she's at risk. And besides, she can take care of herself.

Beau Evans owns and operates Evans Security, and he's the unlucky one who gets to babysit the beautiful Marissa. The moment he watches her strut her stuff down the runway, in a revealing corset that hugs her generous assets, he gets an itch that doesn't go away. Their first encounter ends with an angry exchange and a battle of strong wills, but once they succumb to the lust in their blood there's no turning back.

A PERFECT FIT is a well-written little novella with an amusing heroine, a hot hero and good dialogue.

It is the story of the spunky and intelligent, plus-sized model, Marissa Lambert, whose agent hires a bodyguard for her after two other models have fallen to their death. Enter Beau Evans, part owner of a personal security company with a Texan twang and a cowboy hat.

From the first, sparks fly between the two characters. She is less than impressed with the idea of a bodyguard; he wants her more than he can handle. Even though both are dubious, their attraction is too strong to deny, leading to many heated and amusing exchanges.

We can virtually feel the sizzle between the characters--and the promise of more stories to come in the persons of Evan's other brothers is enticing. This is therefore a fun introduction into a new series.

However, the story also has some downsides. Even though there is the hint of danger in the threat of the two deaths, it soon turns out to be mere coincidence and as a result there is no tension, no real story to allow the characters to display depth. It is a fun string of sexual interludes, heavy on the orgasms but light on foreplay and finesse. Nevertheless, a fun read, especially as it is short enough to excuse the lack of story.
