THREESOME is an erotic short story about a woman ready to give up on love and lust when she meets the man of her dreams… and his brother!
I really enjoyed the development of Eve's character. The author gave us some insight into this single, sexually unfulfilled, thirty-something woman. Eve is feeling more and more sexually frustrated and can't seem to find anyone to meet her needs. She has a good job but has to contend with a group of "mean girls" at the office. She also has an office crush, but she doesn't have any idea who the guy is.
When Eve is invited to a couples only birthday party for the head of her company, she needs someone to play her boyfriend, so why not the handsome stranger she has a crush on? Luckily for Eve the handsome stranger, Branson, also has a crush on her and is prepared to take advantage of Eve's situation. Branson insists on a date before the party so it appears they know one another. The date turns into an evening of erotic pleasure for Eve, especially after Branson's brother, Max, joins the date.
My only complaint is that I didn't feel that Branson and Max's characters were developed as well as Eve's. I enjoyed the progression of the evening the three of them spent together and the emotions that were portrayed. All three of them are uncertain at times, but not willing to let that hold them back from this amazing experience. Their feelings after the evening is over are also well-written. A fun book to read.
