TAKE ME, BREAK ME took me completely by surprise. I didn't have a clue what to expect and it was one of the best books I've read this year.

Jodie is struggling to stay afloat with her tiny income when a brilliant idea arrives that could solve all of her problems. Not only will her idea solve her financial problems but could bring the man she never stopped wanting back into her life. Klaus cannot believe what Jodie wants from him. Capture fantasies fill her ebook and she asks him to play the part for a documentary where he captures her and plays out her fantasy for film. Neither of them anticipated what was about to happen.

Now, I will warn you this book has elements some readers may object to throughout this capture fantasy. However, I didn't mind how TAKE ME, BREAK ME Panned out. It was far more believable than some of the books I've read. I don't wish to give away points within this book as it all comes together to be a rather interesting and absorbing read.

First, I love Jodie and how she thinks this capture fantasy is going to play out. Klaus, at times, made me chuckle, and I also love the fact Jodie couldn't take him seriously. She's known him a long time and watching him play captor is just plain boring. Then something amazing happens, and Klaus takes Jodie and the reader by surprise. He becomes the man in control and will not accept Jodie's lip service or obedience. It's like the mask he's been wearing comes off and this different man stands in his place.

I wish I could review this book by each chapter but I can't, for several reasons. One, it would make for a long review, and two, it would spoil the book for everyone. This is such a good book and for me, makes BDSM a reality. I felt for both characters in this book. They were both exploring elements that neither anticipated and Klaus was such a complex part of this book. I fell for him instantly. I loved the way he tried to give Jodie what she thought she wanted and then he took the reins and wow, this guy is drool-worthy.

Cari Silverwood is an author to look out for. This story has put her firmly on the map for me. Her BDSM is solid and the way she weaves it into her story leaves me gasping for more.

I really can't recommend this book enough; it was that good and left a big impression on me. Fantastically written with well-rounded characters and a plot that will leave you panting for more.
