Keddrick has denied claiming his mate for four years, separating them by worlds just to keep the man he loves safe…from him. Can he resist temptation when his love lands on his doorstep in need of help?
Eli has lusted after Keddrick from the moment the vampire stepped through the portal and into Earth. He had desperately wanted to go with Keddrick when the man returned to Pavarus, but it wasn't allowed—not to mention Eli was under the impression that Keddrick was straight. Four years later his wish has come true, but not in the way he wanted. Barely escaping death by the hands of Wayland, head of the human council on Earth, Eli flees to Pavarus in search of help. The line of events that get him there release a hidden secret deep inside of him he never knew existed, and would soon change his life forever.
Keddrick's restraint towards Eli is being seriously tested, and every day Eli stays with him at the coven, the harder it gets. He wants to keep his distance, but at the same time he wants to do everything he can to please Eli. Yet as time goes on, he feels his resolve slowly crumble, his love for the man too strong to ignore. When Keddrick finds out about Wayland's threat on his and Eli's life, he is determined to stop the madman anyway he can, even if that means going against Eli's pleas for him not to.
Through blood and tears, years of love and moments of betrayal, can these two men find their way through the hardships and into a life of happiness in each other's arms?

The second book entitled MORVEA, in what I hope is a long series, takes us back to the wonderful world created by Jennifer Wright in Pavarus. These are not standalone books, but must be read in order. The relationships formed in the first book continue and are expanded here; the characters are given even more depth. And the writing still flows along smoothly, story plotline has as much or more depth, the characters and their relationships get even better in this book.
At the end of book one, we met Eli, another human like Wes, who knows of the portals and the world of Vampires living in the other dimension. He's the one whom Wes calls on when he arrives back on earth and he's also the one who helps Wes get back to his mate Remus through the portal. He's in charge of caring for all that Keddrick has on earth. He's also in love with Keddrick.
Keddrick has known from the first look at Eli that the man is his mate. But a recurring dream where he drains Eli of blood, thus killing him, prevents him from telling Eli he's his mate or ever claiming the human and taking him home.
The world on Pavarus has one leader for the Draguns, while Keddrick is the ruler of the Vampires, but Earth has a council of humans. Wayland, a member of the council, has decided that he needs to be the only ruler on earth. In his mind, Keddrick, with Eli's help, is trying to take over earth and Wayland can't allow that to happen. So when the New York portal is opened twice without authorization from the council, it's proof of Keddrick's plans. As a result, Wayland kidnaps Eli and chaos ensues...
While Eli and Keddrick get their happy ending in this book, more questions are left to be answered. What is Isa the witch up to with her asking for kisses? What is going to happen with Zane and Larken? And there is still the problem with the leader of the Draguns, Gravaick, to take care of. I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first, and I'm going to be waiting for the next story in this series.
