SUMMARY
After only one challenge, Amanda is already well aware that she will participate in the second one, despite not knowing what Benjamin has in store. Her life as a school teacher wasn't exactly full of excitement before he arrived in it and the pleasure that he brings makes her unable to imagine her life without him.
The more time she spends with him, the stronger his allure becomes until she agrees to his proposal though it takes her out of her comfort zone.
Intrigued by the mystery of his attempt to take her to her limits, she puts her trust in him as she accompanies him to a private sex club.

Shermaine Williams knows spice and fortunately for readers, she does not make us decide whether we want naughty or nice! In her latest novella, THE SECOND CHALLENGE, Ms Williams takes her audience on another journey into the sexy world of private clubs where inhibitions drop and sexual pleasures may be freely explored.

Amanda can't stop thinking about her all too brief fling with Benjamin. There's nothing like good sex to make a smart woman go stupid, edgy, and desperate. When Mr. Right returns for more, bearing gifts no less, Amanda will do anything he asks. What he asks is for her submission – and a night to explore the secrets of Spice. There they explore their passion, take every opportunity to watch and be watched.

Amanda initially struggles to lose her inhibitions but eventually gains confidence and revels in the freedom of her sexuality. Benjamin proves to be a virile, attentive lover who pushes her limits but not past any point where the character or the reader is comfortable.

This sassy, sexy novella proves to be a quick and steamy read. The sex scenes are hot and plentiful and the characters have enough substance that readers feel a story line grow, although that certainly is limited by length. Amanda's indoctrination into the sex club world feels appropriately tempting and seeing her sense of empowerment grow overcomes any concerns a reader might have with the mild BDSM represented in this work. While not my favorite piece by this particular author, it is certainly worth reading as she certainly knows how to write erotic romance!
