This futuristic fantasy romance keeps readers on the edge of their seats with action, suspense and romance.
A young woman stranded in another dimension is faced with werewolves, vampires and incubi, and she must find a way to not only survive, but adapt to a world with no cities, electricity and no humans.
This fast-paced plot keeps readers tingling with anticipation as Susan tries to find her way in the dangerous world she's found herself in. Different groups of people all trying to claim her for their own purposes and her with no idea of the politics or cultures, she's constantly getting herself in more trouble. The author brings the story to life with well written and believable scenes that capture the imagination. The characters are strong, compelling and draw the reader deeper into the story with their own agenda and personalities.
The attraction between Susan and Sorin radiates from the pages and the sex scenes are hot, steamy and stimulate the senses with their vibrant intensity. The reader can't help but become emotionally involved in the emotional turmoil of Susan's situation and everything that she ends up going through in her new life. Sorin captures the heart with what he's going through to save his pack after their horrible past and resulting emotional trauma. And then there are the other characters that intrigue the readers with their stories and plights, so no matter what, the reader needs to know more about these captivating characters and their stories.
The action and suspense builds throughout with all the drama and betrayals that everyone seems to have valid reasons for, you know the kind that makes the readers feel for the bad guys even though what they did was wrong. I was totally caught up in the story from the beginning and I must say that the more I read the more intriguing and entertaining it got. I can't wait to read the next book about these fascinating characters and their world.
