THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNWANTED VIRGIN had the usual tearjerker plot and that was the reason I chose it. I'm a sucker for those kind of stories.
The story opens with filthy rich businessman learning that his black sheep brother, who has just died, gave him one last present. He bought him an innocent young virgin. Okay, so even I thought that was a little dramatic. But the unlikely pair strike a business deal and end up getting married.
The sweet ingenue turns out not to be a gold digger after all and they kinda fall in love... or maybe it was lust. The story had some steamy love scenes and the couple begin to grow closer. Then the brooding hero goes and breaks the heroine's heart. I knew it was gonna happen... I wanted it to happen. It was a deceitful character and a misunderstanding that led to some emotionally poignant moments.
This book definitely lived up to my expectations and I enjoyed it very much. I liked the characters and bought into their reasons for making certain choices. I especially liked how the writer tied up the ending, it was very emotional and sweet.
I'd definitely recommend this one.
