This is a story that captivated my imagination and took me into a world I can only dream of being in. It's the tale of Tanner Star, rock star of the group Dazed, and a musician, a guitar player called Reno Rocket. What starts out as a ploy on stage to drive the audience wild ends up being a reality for the two men.

Tanner has a penchant for BDSM dress when he's on stage. As he should, seeing as how he's a well-respected Dom in the scene. And he has a real desire for the blonde and green-eyed Reno. To Reno, the stage play has always been real and he can think of nothing more than being Tanner's very willing sub.

So, when sexy, demanding Dom meets willing, wanton sub, of course the sparks are going to fly and those floggers are going to get their fair share of the action. There's just one problem--Reno isn't out to his family or his girlfriend yet. And so begins a story of passion, hot sex and BDSM action that scorches the pages and in between, a developing relationship between two very different men.

I loved the development of this story, from Tanner finding he felt more for Reno as time passed and Reno realising that being a sub to a man like Tanner was what he'd desired all his life. The plot line is well written, the descriptions of the show business world realistic and exciting and the inter play between the two men both sweet, sassy and may I say, extremely sexy.

There is conflict as Reno tries to fight his growing attraction to Tanner and Tanner tries to tone down his natural aggression and Dom side to make Reno trust that he won't hurt him. The characters develop and grow as the story continues, and the education of Reno into being Tanner's sub is erotic, tender and moving. And did I mention totally hot? Think picnic in the woods, two strategically placed saplings, leather restraints, a few other toys and a flogger and that may give you an idea of a pretty memorable scene.

There is also the heartbreaking fact that Reno's family won't accept him who he is--a man in love with another man. This family conflict leads to some moving moments in the book.

I wanted to give this book 3.5 stars as I wasn't sure I was engaged enough with the characters' emotional development to give it a four star. I would have liked to see more around this aspect. So I've given it a 3 here, but you all know how I really feel about it at least.

The author introduced some great dialogue, memorable characters and wonderful show business scenarios. I enjoyed this book a lot as an entertaining read. I'd definitely recommend the book and anything else H. C. Brown has written.
