Fantasy Romance, LGBTQ, Paranormal Romance
Luke, an American exchange student studying abroad in Ireland, ignored his roommates when they told him to put back the gold coin he found in the garden. They warned him about what would happen if he kept the leprechaun gold. He might wonder if maybe he should have listened to them when a sexy, kilt-wearing leprechaun shows up that night to claim the last of the coins from his scattered pot of gold.

This is a cute and, should I say it, yes, charming short story of what happens when Leprechauns get bored and play games with their pots of gold and someone in the human realm finds a piece and claims it.
Luke, an American student rooming with locals in the small village doesn't have the same knowledge and fear of Leprechauns that the local lads he's rooming with do. So when he finds a strange coin in the dirt while gardening he keeps it even though his roomies tell him to put it back.
Arn feels it when his last piece of missing gold has been found. Who knew it would take centuries after playing a foolish game with his fellow Leprechauns? As he slips into Luke's room as the latter sleeps, Arn finds he can't reclaim his gold; Luke will have to willingly give it back to him. What is Arn willing to do to reclaim it and does he really want to?
What follows is a night of passion and love, but was it real? Or was it just a dream? And for one, the question is asked, "What are you willing to give up for true love?"
As short as this story was, the author did a fantastic job with developing the characters. I knew just who Luke and Arn were. The story line was engaging and had all of the emotional ups and downs of longer stories and pulled you to the ending. The author has you rooting for the happy ending, and I found the ending to be a bit of a surprise. How? You'll have to read the story, because it is magically delicious.
