New York Times bestselling author Susan Mallery returns with a Christmas-themed retelling of her beloved story, The Wedding Ring Promise!
In her youth, Molly Anderson couldn't help crushing on gorgeous bad boy Dylan Black-even though he had eyes only for her older sister. When things didn't work out between them, he said goodbye to Molly as well, vowing they'd have a great adventure when she grew up. Years later, dumped by her fiance just before Christmas, she's finally ready to take Dylan up on his promise.
A guarded Dylan always had a weakness for Molly, and when she waltzes back into his life—grown-up and gorgeous—he's stunned. So why not whisk her away for some no-strings-attached fun?
Laughter-filled days and late-night kisses are changing Molly's life, for good. The only gift she truly wants now is Dylan's love, but when he discovers the secret she's been keeping, she may lose him again
this time forever.

THE CHRISTMAS WEDDING RING is 16 years old (originally published in 1998) but the romance rings fresh and true, and it is as romantic today as it was then, I'm sure. If you're a lover of friends-to-lovers romance, this is one you don't want to miss!
Granted, they're not really best friends, Molly being an awkward, ugly duckling 14 while Dylan was dating her much older sister Janet. But friends they still were, with Dylan taking time to be friendly and to talk with Molly every time Janet was late getting ready for their date. Of course, Molly had this huge crush on Dylan, seeing past his bad boy looks, family background and biker clothes. But when her sister broke up with him to marry someone else, Molly was crushed, especially when Dylan left town.
Fast forward ten years later, Molly had moved on with her life. But she has suffered a terrible week, and in an effort to take her mind off it, she decided to go on an adventure, especially when she remembered Dylan's promise to take her on one when she was older. While she had gotten over her crush on Dylan, she quickly realized that she was falling once again for him. But would he want her once he knew what she was keeping from him?
THE CHRISTMAS WEDDING RING is a heartwarming romance sure to keep you hot during the cold season. If I hadn't looked at the copyright page, I wouldn't have known this was written years ago!
Molly is a sympathetic heroine, and strong and kick-ass too. She didn't let the worries and anxieties that should have dragged her down to define her; instead, she determined to live her life to the full, even having an adventure. And who better to take her than Dylan, who'd grown even more attractive over the years? Dylan is also remarkable, because he's a self-made man, having risen in his financial situation over the years through his hard work and passion for motorbike design. He's also genuine and caring, although a bit insecure due to his background.
Their relationship progressed nicely and believably, and the intimate moments between them were hot and tender. Though there weren't any surprises in the plot, THE CHRISTMAS WEDDING RING is good if you're looking for a feel-good, comfort read. I enjoyed this very much and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody.
