HR director Vivian Tremaine spent ten years of her twelve-year marriage waiting for her ex-husband to be released from prison, only to have him ask her for a divorce. She finally gets together with Luke Henderson, her long-time friend next door, the same week she agrees to go out with Dr. Preston Benson, the new chief trauma surgeon at Sin Hospital that she hired.

Luke's wife and infant son were killed by a drunk driver years ago, and he's been half in love with Vivian all his life. He waited too long after her divorce to ask her out, and now he might lose her to the new doc in town.

Preston has a secret he hopes stays behind in Chicago. But Vivian knows it, and she goes out with him anyway. As he comes to realize if he wants her, he has to share her with Luke, his secret is uncovered and his job is threatened.

The country boy from next door versus the sexy doctor who has come to town. Vivian is attracted to both, but can't choose one over the other. Turns out she doesn't need to. This is one smart woman because she decides that Luke and Preston need to share her. They embrace her idea with fervor and passion that would make a nun jealous.

I fell for Luke early on in the story and thought he was really sweet. Don't let him fool you though; he can be sweet one moment and rock your world the next. He's getting over his grief and decides since Vivian and him are both single, he can finally make the move he's been wanting to for over twenty years. He's not the only one making moves though; Dr. Preston also decides he wants Vivian and goes after her.

I really enjoyed how Luke and Preston embraced the idea of sharing Vivian with each other. There were no awkward moments slowing them down, instead they jumped into the situation with zeal. The only thing I didn't like was the high fiving between the two whenever Vivian agreed to try something sexual. What I did like was when Luke and Preston realized it wasn't a competition and there was no reason to be jealous.

The three of them together work like magic, but when one of them leaves because of problems at work, they realize real quickly that without each other they aren't whole.

THERE'S A NEW SIN IN TOWN is full of steamy scenes, sexy characters, and plenty of heat. Tara Rose had me addicted from the very first page and I bet you will be to. If you enjoy hot ménage with your romances, then you definitely want to read this book.
