Book 3 of Kiss of Leather
BDSM, Erotic Romance, LGBTQ, Romantic Suspense/Mystery

Kyle's best friend Marshall resurfaces and he's in a lot of trouble. Can the men at Kiss of Leather convince a former Dom to take on the mouthy sub?

Master Derek and his new sub Corey have signed a contract and enjoy their first scene together. The love between them is strong and Derek is as protective of his boy as ever. The only thing left that would make their world perfect would be to bring Corey's ex-Dom and abuser to justice.

The legal firm that represents Kiss of Leather is charged with hiring a private investigator to flush out the man who orchestrated Corey's gang rape. Stone Manning is hesitant to take the job, though. He was once wrongly accused in the death of a sub and swore never to enter a BDSM club again. But he owes attorney Glen Sharp his life after the lawyer got him acquitted.

Their meeting is disrupted when Kyle's missing friend Marshall calls for help. Master Josh promises to help the mouthy Marshall get back on his feet under one condition—Marshall must sign a six month D/s contract as a full-time sub and prove he can fully submit to a man as well as learn to respect those around him.

Stone Manning suddenly finds himself charged with taming the brattiest sub ever. In truth, the bigger the brat, the more his heart races with excitement. Marshall promises to be just the type of challenge to inspire Stone to be a Master again. As Stone learns more about him, he sees the pain that Marshall has always tried to numb with drugs and alcohol. Stone also sees a man he could love—if he can ever reach him.

In the meantime, Stone and his investigative partner, Chuck, continue to search for Corey's attacker. The abusive Dom appears to have gone underground. But what they don't realize is that the closer they get to their prey, the more dangerous he becomes.

Reader Advisory: This book contains references to drug and alcohol abuse.

Glitterkink readers, this is the book for you. In BONDAGE RESCUE, there is a fabulous exclusive club with pretty amazing BDSM furniture. The handcrafted and unique equipment is panty-wetting goodness. Created by Kyle, one of the submissives, this club is going to be a blast when it is in full swing. This is the third book in the series. Whilst it is recommended to read the previous books, this one is fine to read as a standalone.

One would think this story is about Corey and Derek. Corey is recovering from an abusive ex-dominant. Derek is Corey's new dominant who wants the asshat poser to be brought to justice. Derek and the other owners of the private club, Kiss of Leather, hire Stone Manning to hunt Corey's ex-dominant down. This story is really about Marshall and Stone. Both have been burned in the lifestyle in some ways so they are hesitant to try again. When the two meet, it is inevitable they will play together. Whether it turns into a relationship is dependent on Marshall.

This story moved at a good pace with some nice pauses for sexy time and loving healing time. It is sad to see Marshall's life. He is the proverbial party boy who does not want to grow up. He trades on his good looks and youth. Growing up and older is the death knell for twinks like Marshall. He is bratty and suffers from low self-esteem. Honestly, it is difficult for me to like Marshall. I feel a little bit of disgusted pity at first. Then, Ms. Knight does a good job of humanizing Marshall and showing how he can change. His bratty attitude is a cry for attention and help. Whilst I don't believe BDSM should be used for therapy, at times it can. Stone is the right dominant who can help Marshall be the better version of himself. I admire Stone's patience and tolerance.

The BDSM scenes in here are pretty hot. The cock cage and sounding is fantastic and totally enjoyable. The fear Marshall exhibits is captured so well. Stone's negotiation and not letting Marshall worm out of things is nicely done. The power exchange in this story is jarring and it is supposed to be this way. Marshall is a brat who can not easily submit his control. In fact, he doesn't want to and he wants to focus on being a bottom instead. It is nice to see how Marshall changes his mind with Stone's support.

This kinky romance is recommended for m/m readers who enjoy lost boys finding their shelter in loving arms.
