This hot little story sure did rev my engines!
THE PERFECT SECRETARY is about Sheila, who is the executive assistance to Troy, her boss that she totally has the hots for. One day he calls her into the office, and she goes in with excitement; however, she has no idea that her boss has some plans for her that include spanking and his business partner, Seth. But she soon comes to realize that she's going to love every minute of it.
I really liked this shorty story. At about 19 pages, you can breeze through it easily, and its hot content will help that along as well. Sheila and Troy's relationship was an interesting one. As they are setting up their sexual relationship, they still referred to each other as "Mr. Reid" and "Ms. Adams". That formality was extremely erotic. It made the whole story that much more steamy in my opinion.
When Seth came into the picture, it was obvious that things were going to get much more interesting, and the author did not disappoint. The menage scenario was very sensual and left me wanting to beg for more.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the BDSM relationship was entered into too quickly. It seemed as though she was ready to put her trust in someone when she had no experience in the lifestyle. And Troy being the experienced Dom didn't take the time to explain much to her. Now, I know the book was short, but it would have been nice to have some mention of this.
Overall though, I thought this was a quick, hot, read that was well-written. I really liked the author's voice. I liked Sheila and Troy was yummy. I was wondering about Seth though. I felt a little bad for him because I wanted him to get a happily ever after too. I'm hoping that he'll eventually get a story (wink, wink).
Although I was wondering about Seth, I did learn that THE PERFECT SECRETARY has a sequel called "The Invitation" featuring Sheila and Troy, and I can NOT wait to read it! This is my first experience with this author, but I look forward to reading more of her work.
