When he does, the fierce passion, the frenzied need returns stronger than before. He has to have her and this time he won't let her go. Every time he feels her beneath him, he only needs her more.
Audrey is tired of running. She ran away from Last Chance ten years ago, now she's running from her ex … and stumbling right into the arms--and bed--of the tattooed, trouble-making man who'd given her the strength to leave the first time. His touch sets her on fire. His love sets her free. For once she's grabbing the happiness she deserves. Now … they just have to find a way to make the past stay behind them where it belongs.
Contains: Lots of delicious, explicit lovemaking, including outdoor sex, hot-tub action, love bent over a motorcycle, and more!

I am a complete sucker for second chance romance. Ok, so I'm a complete sucker for romance in general, but everyone deserves a second chance right?
I loved this short story, NEEDING AUDREY, from the beginning for the simple fact that Shane is a tough guy who wears his feelings for Audrey on his sleeve and the two have insanely instant chemistry but they hold off until the second night because Audrey is still none too sure about this chemical reaction she has towards Shane Malone. And that waiting period, even though it was short drew me in, because we rarely see that nowadays in both real and fictional life. I have to ask, can anybody really hold off if you feel an immediate connection to someone?
Audrey Peterson has come back to Last Chance, Oregon to rebuild her life after a messy divorce. The first person she runs into is the guy she spilled her heart out to all those years ago that had turned into a wild night of passion for them both. The moment she looks into his eyes and hears her name on his lips, she knows she will end up in bed come morning, but she won't be alone. That is if she can stop her heart from beating madly and remind herself what exactly coming back home means to her sense of peace.
Shane Malone can't believe his eyes when he spots little Audrey Peterson sitting at the bar alone, the girl from school who went out of her way not to be noticed. The same girl who spilled her heart out about her father's abusiveness. The same girl who made him the luckiest guy all those years ago by giving him the greatest night of his life, although she didn't know it. Can Shane convince Audrey to stay in his life for good? Can Audrey let go of her past long enough to see what she has in the present?
NEEDING AUDREY is the third book in the Malone Brothers series by Madison Scott. Although I have not read the first two, meeting Ty and Ethan Malone in Shane's story, I have a hunch that their stories will be just as explosive and intense as reading NEEDING AUDREY.
