Book 3 of the Mischievous Matchmaker series.

Turnabout is fair play. Or maybe karma is a bitch is more fitting.

Petra's friends throw her a key party to help her move on from a months-old heartbreak. While she is not interested in falling in love again, getting her stunted sex life back on track doesn't sound like a bad idea. Except someone sabotages the key drawing before she gets her turn.

Instead of spending the night with the ultra-hot doc her friends intended to "accidentally" set her up with, she winds up drawing Alex's keys instead. A night with Alex is coveted among players. Petra quickly finds out the reality of Alex far exceeds his legendary reputation. The moment they kiss they discover a chemistry so combustible it's positively nuclear. They're so engulfed in a red-hot haze of passion, neither of them sees it coming when Petra's ex returns, repentant and threatening to ruin their newfound happiness.

Inside Scoop: These sexy key parties lead to some pretty wild times, including group sex and male/male interactions, which are mentioned as past adventures.

LUCK OF THE DRAW is a steamy, red-hot novella that will have you considering which of your sexy friends you could invite over for your own key party! With hot sex and sweet romance, LUCK OF THE DRAW is a perfect quick read that will have you simultaneously drooling and awww'ing.

Petra Romanov is still reeling from a devastating breakup with longtime boyfriend Jude, but her friends know it's time for her to move on. Petra was always the matchmaker in the group, but turnabout is fair play when her friends throw her a 70's style key party. Petra is ready to embrace her sexuality again with one of the hot as sin men in attendance, and she just knows it's the yummy doctor she's been lusting after forever whom her friends are going to make sure she hooks up with. And she doesn't mind one bit.

Petra's friend and fellow nurse Alex has been helping her through her breakup, waiting for the right moment to confess his love for her. He's pissed that Petra's girlfriends aren't setting her up with him at this sex party! But he has his own tricks up his sleeves to make sure Petra chooses him, and he's going to make damn sure she finally knows how he feels.

But Petra is in no place for a serious relationship and the thought of hurting her friendship with Alex makes her sick. As the two grow closer, Petra's world is rocked when her ex comes back into the picture, regretful for leaving and wanting her back. Can Petra and Alex's newfound relationship survive the bombshells Jude drops on them both?

I am in absolute lust with LUCK OF THE DRAW! I totally want to hang out with this group of hot friends who have sex parties for fun and matchmaking purposes. I enjoyed the fact that Alex laid his feelings on the line to Petra and that she didn't automatically reciprocate them...yet was willing to give the two of them a chance to see where things could go.

The initial sex scene between the two of them was pure brilliance! The fact that he has been in love with her forever yet can't get it up when faced with his fantasy absolutely killed me...that NEVER happens in books! Their friendship remained solid despite the fact that they were sleeping together, and I think it made their growing romantic relationship stronger and more realistic.

I don't want to give any of the good stuff away regarding the reappearance of Petra's ex-boyfriend, but I thought the entire situation was well-written and I felt pleased by the dialogue, situations and eventually the outcome of all three of the characters. While none of them had a huge amount of depth, LUCK OF THE DRAW was very much a "here and now" story that focused completely on the present and didn't get dragged down by too much backstory.

This story was a heck of a lot of fun, deliciously sexy but with a very romantic overtone that made me "awww" repeatedly and root for Petra and Alex to make their relationship work. There was a lot of sex in this book, however despite the summary mentioning MM and group activity, those things were simply alluded to and not described in delectable detail, much to my disappointment. I will have to check out some of the other books in the Mischievous Matchmaker series to get my guy-on-guy fix!
