Owner of La Bella Vita, a five-star day spa nestled in the affluent suburbs of Nashville, Tennessee, Beth Sergeant knows her elite clientele firsthand. She attended their private schools. She was even engaged, although briefly, to one of their most recognized bachelors. But she never fit in to their social-elite world.
After losing his parents to a car accident at a young age, Nick Chester was raised by his grandfather, the wealthiest man in Nashville. When he chooses to socialize, he has a never-ending list of exclusive events and beautiful women vying for his attention. Yet he never lets himself forget that everyone has an agenda.
Beth can't resist Nick's charm and accepts an invitation to dinner, despite her deep-seated insecurities. She proves she's nothing like other women Nick's dated and learns to trust him in return. But just as the last of their resistance crumbles and true love is within reach, challenges from Nick's past threaten to destroy everything and force Beth to reveal her most guarded secret.

Magic can happen at any time but it's truly magical when it happens in winter, even more during Christmas time. I fell in love with this book from the beginning. Who could not, when Ms. Gail starts comparing sex with chocolate?
Beth is an independent woman who is attracted to Nick from the moment he walks into her spa business. Only, he is there to buy Lauren a birthday gift and she believes he is off limits. Beth doesn't have a good record in the relationship department since she is the one that compares sex to chocolate. She comes from a middle class family and has worked hard to get where she is at, but she did have a little help from her father. She couldn't believe it when she went to his grandpa's pre-Christmas party and he asked her out to midnight mass on Christmas Eve.
Nick is a wealthy bachelor, well, recent bachelor since he broke his relationship with Lauren a couple of days before he bought her her birthday gift. He went to Beth's spa since his grandfather had recommended him to see her for the gift. He was attracted to her from the moment that he saw her. So when he saw her at the party, he said the first thing that came to his head.
Nick and Beth were perfect for each other. On their first date, he found himself taking her to the best restaurant in town for a wonderful dinner and some dancing. But Lauren was there. She's a socialite, but the break up for Lauren is not permanent. She will do anything to get Nick back, to the point of almost hurting Beth but Beth stood her ground and cleared the misunderstanding. Only that Lauren was more conniving, and this time, she did the unthinkable and Nick had no choice but break it off with Beth.
I love that these two characters, Nick and Beth, complement each other so well. Ms. Gail did an excellent job building the sexual tension between Beth and Nick. They were attracted to each other physically from the moment they met. I loved that when they were finally together, they both could not get enough of each other as they were both so hungry for each other.
The writing is good and the storyline is fantastic. Ms. Gail has a talent for writing beautiful sensual romantic stories. The world she created for Beth and Nick was beautiful and also realistic. I felt the connection between Beth and Nick and felt overjoyed for their happily ever after.
Pick up your own copy of WINTER'S MAGIC and enjoy a heart-warming romance that will make you smile. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
